Where’s A-Roid? (And where has TYB been?)

There’s been lots of talk about how great Alex Rodriguez has been, and all the great things he’s done to get us here, wouldn’t be here without him, yadda yadda yadda. But once again, A-Rod has shrunk from the scene, going 0-8 with 6 strikeouts in the first two World Series games of his career, booting a routine hit that should have been at least knocked down…Kate must be hanging out with the official scorer because he wasn’t given an error. Everyone talking about A-Rod and how great he was coming into the WS….it’s as if a million million voices suddenly cried out in pain and were immediately silenced. Maybe he needs to get some more Boli going, I’m sure his cousin can still hook him up, because he’s about to alienate himself from every fan he won over this postseason unless he can get his head out of his ass and stop swinging at so many terrible pitches. I don’t want to hear another word about how great he is until he does something worthwhile to help us. What does he need to do, walk-off hit? A solid 3 for 4 performance with some outstanding defense? What will it take? Only time will tell.
