Commenting Guidelines
One of the great things about a blog is that you can leave a comment on any one of our posts. With multiple posts per day, there is lots of stuff to talk about. We encourage you to drop by and leave a comment on your favorite posts. With the number of readers of The Yankee Blog growing, we wanted to list some guidelines for you to follow:
- You don’t need to sign up to leave a comment. We ask for your e-mail address. Although this does not have to be true, we ask that you include it. This information will not be disclosed.
- We have integrated Facebook with The Yankee Blog. This allows you to easily use your Facebook login information to make comments on The Yankee Blog. Your Facebook login information is not stored and will not be disclosed. Your comments on this site will not be published to Facebook without your permission either.
- You don’t have to be a Yankee fan to comment on this site. However please be respectable when talking to another reader or leaving a comment. It is ok to disagree on a topic or argue but do not take it to a personal level.
- Do not SPAM!
- If you are new to the site, your first comment may require moderation. Please wait as we quickly approve your first comment.
- We do not encourage profanity so please try to refrain from using it as much as you can.
- Do not advertise your site, blog, or product when commenting. If you would like to promote your site, we ask for that information when you submit a comment. This will allow other readers to click on your name and be re-directed to your site.
We usually do not delete comments so please follow the guidelines above!
